Got this from Postmates or one of those things once per recommendation from someone

It is what it is. Good pizza Good portions, lots of sauce.

Individually all the ingredients are great. Sauce is good. Cheese use is okay. Crust is not bad

Not a 5 star because it Just didn't come Together as a whole for me which is what good pizza should be.

Don't know what they're striving to be but it's a good spot it seems to get pizza and beer, and definitely the best of the gaslamp for sure!

Experience wise I think it's a good spot overall. Pizza wise ...honestly not bad.  Rest of the menu isn't bad at all. Just missing that "wow factor" that a great pizza usually has, but again, the best the gaslamp has to offer for sure!

Would I order again? Probably since I live nearby . I think it's  a place to give a try. Might be your thang!

Cure to end any drunk evening or hangover = greasy pizza.

After bar hoping the night away, nothing sounded better than a NY style slice of pizza with all the fixin's. Having heard good things about this spot - which happened to be super close to our Airbnb - the hubs and I stumbled in for a late night bite.

First things first - check in on Yelp! You get an order of 3 deliciously garlicky garlic knots on the house.

Second - choose from the menu selections - many of which are highlighted in the case in front of you. Go with the tomato basil if you're feeling fancy, it's literally so good.  Otherwise the OG pepperoni is a sure fire hit. If you really want to up your game - create your own Stromboli or your own pie.

Third - Grab a beer and wait to either dine in or take out. Service is friendly and quick - making drunk Kate, a happy Kate.

Lastly, pat yourself on the back for not breaking the bank. Each slice of pizza starts at $2 and goes up, depending on the type of pie slice ordered. However, 2 slices and a soda (or beer) is merely $10, so we all can spot the better deal, leaving more money in your pocket for the next bar.

    The end.

I really like this little hole in the wall pizza place in the Gaslamp district of San Diego. They have outdoor seating and indoor seating with plenty of TVs to watch. You can buy pizza by the slice and a garlic knots are incredible along with a marinara sauce. They have some local draft beers on tap. I had B North breakfast riddle with very good with a slice of pizza and a garlic knot. Plenty of TVs to watch a sporting events and plenty of other draft beers to try. And the owner was very nice and helpful. I will definitely be back.

This place took forever and the service was awful I waited almost an hour for a pizza. There was nobody else in the pizzeria and the workers were extremely rude when we asked about the pizza it looked like they had forgotten about it.

Ciro's has my heart. If I'm ever in downtown for a night out, this is my late-night-bite-go-to.

    THE AMBIANCE:

Medium-sized pizzeria. The ordering counter is in the front and the seating area is in the back. Condiments like salt, red pepper, and parmesan cheese are on the table ready to use.

    THE PIZZA:

I am obsessed with ricotta so my pizza always has this ingredient on top and it makes me oh so happy. The ricotta is fresh and flavorful. It is also a generous portion. Mood changer! I've come to realize that not every place that sells pizza has ricotta so I take advantage when I'm at Ciro's. The pizza dough is soft and crunchy where needed. I can throw as much grated parmesan cheese on top as I want to. Pure heaven.

    THE TIPS:

Once it starts to get late is when all the drunks come out to play. The line gets super long and you have to stand out in the cold. If you're bringing your family on a weekend, arrive early so you miss this debauchery.

    I love you, Ciro's!!
